Stagewise — Multi-Stage Pipeline Manager
A multi-stage production workflow tracker — built to monitor manufacturing bottlenecks and automate escalation routing.
Problem
Multi-department production workflows suffered from zero visibility into stage transitions. The challenge: bottlenecks at specific workstations weren't identified until final fulfillment deadlines were completely missed, leading to cascaded delays across the facility.
Architecture & Solution

The platform is built on Remix and TypeScript, integrating directly with Shopify. It allows admins to define linear stage templates and assign duration targets. Event listeners track when orders transition between stages, triggering webhooks that notify relevant teams of SLA risks.
Implementation Decisions
- Standardized workflow templates — Reusable stage templates drastically reduce onboarding time for configuring new, similar order types.
- SLA duration flagging — Automated timers trigger alerts when an order sits in a specific stage longer than its assigned duration target.
- Event-driven escalations — Webhook integrations automatically notify department heads when bottlenecks form, allowing proactive reallocation of resources.
