Problem

A healthcare market research team was spending hundreds of hours manually reviewing Reddit threads to identify staffing pain points. The challenge: the manual process was incredibly slow, inconsistent, and failed to generate actionable sales insights at scale.

Architecture & Solution

The Node.js backend utilizes the PRAW wrapper for reliable Reddit API access. Data is ingested into a Supabase instance where keyword matching algorithms flag high-value threads. The system then utilizes a templating engine to generate and deploy contextual, compliant responses.

Implementation Decisions

  1. Rate-limited API wrapper — Leveraging PRAW ensures strict adherence to Reddit's API rate limits, preventing account bans.
  2. Centralized signal matching — Supabase enables rapid querying of specific pain-point keywords across thousands of ingested comments.
  3. Policy-compliant posting — The autonomous engagement engine is strictly governed to respect individual subreddit rules and moderator guidelines.
